Bleeding

Short answer
Stop active bleeding promptly with a safe wound-treatment item.

What to do
Get to cover if possible. Use a disinfected bandage or other appropriate safe wound-treatment item. Continue until all active bleeds are closed. Watch for wound-infection symptoms afterwards if treatment was questionable.
How it works
Bleeding costs blood and can cascade into unconsciousness. Treating it with contaminated material can create wound infection, so speed matters but cleanliness still matters.
