Wound Disinfectants
Short answer
Disinfectant spray, iodine and alcoholic tincture are used to sanitize wound-treatment materials and support early wound-infection treatment.

What to do
Check whether the wound-treatment item is disinfected. Disinfect suitable materials before using them when possible. If early wound infection is suspected, use the current verified direct-wound route. If infection has progressed, switch to the progressed-infection treatment flow.
How it works
Wound hygiene prevents a bleed from becoming a disease problem.
