Wishlist DayZ Badlands on Steam / Xbox for the desert map. There is no public DayZ 2 store page yet. If a video title uses them as synonyms, close it.
Why people mix them
Both dropped into the same 2025–2026 news cycle. Both are Bohemia. Both are DayZ-shaped. Creators flew to Prague for Nasdara and got a 2 on a banner. Easy mash. Still wrong.
Play plan
Learn water discipline on Nasdara when it ships — that skill will matter in any sequel that cares about survival. Do not wait for DayZ 2 to practice not dying of thirst.
