Xbox Wire (26 Aug 2026) still lists Game Pass. Separate reporting said a studio buyer is not required to keep it. This page will not pick a winner.

What we know
Official Xbox Wire post for the closed beta still says Game Pass, Play Anywhere, Steam, PS5. Reports about the Undead Labs sale said the buyer does not have to keep Game Pass. Both can be true until a store card settles.
