Hangars and runways are malls with worse cover. Go late or go together.

When

Not first hour. Not empty-handed. A common rifle and a way out beat a helmet you die wearing on the tarmac.

Use hangars as rooms, not hallways. Don't sprint the runway as a bit. One watches the approach. One loots.

Grab what feeds your gun. After a shot, assume two grids heard it. Cars on the strip are billboards.
