Dates we have, blanks we keep
Short answer
Videos may show a published day. If the data is blank, the site shows nothing — not 'unknown', not a guess.

How it works
The Videos page prints a date only when the published field is filled. Wiki tape pages exist only for dated items, plus this rule and the undated list.
What to do
If you want a missing date, bring a source. Until then the box stays empty.
