Night

Move slower. Light is a signature. NVG and flashlights are loud in different ways.

Slow

Night hides you and hides them. Walk towns. Don't sprint a silhouette across a field. If you must light, light briefly, then move.

A flashlight is a beacon. NVG is a hum and a green world you can get lost in. Use them. Don't live in them.

Night drops the meter. Dry clothes before the hike. A fire at 3am is a dinner bell two grids over.
